​Robert earned his BSc in Medical Engineering and MSc in Applied Physics from the University of Applied Science Koblenz, Germany. He received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada. His research involved characterizing the white matter with advanced quantitative MRI in neurological diseases. He joined the NeuroPM Lab in early 2020 as a postdoctoral researcher, and his work focuses on multivariate modelling of disease progression in ALS using neuroimaging data. He likes basketball and making hummus.
